2013 is here my friends!

Well guys, we survived the apocalypse. (You know? The one that never happened!). Congratulations on successfully not being devoured by zombies!

For real this time, Happy New Year! I'm super pumped to go to Jamboree tomorrow, but not so pumped about having to get out of bed at 4:30am to catch the maxi-taxi to get to the bus stop by 5:30am. 

Hopefully your first day of 2013 will not start as early as mine.

I'm going to be posting as much as I can on Jamboree, but I have limited computer access, so it's not going to be the every-few-days like it is while I'm on holidays.

I have to go get my sleeping bag out of the drier to take on Jamboree, but I'll post again...soonish. A week tops? Hopefully...

Flashback Time!

I had to collect my shirt for Jamboree today. I wore my new "perv glasses" on the way. And guess who was there!

An old poohead called...let's call him...Poohead #2 (There's another one that happened before this).

Spazz Queen is really pretty. She's funny and well, obviously, kinda weird. But that's not the point. All the guys in our little friendship circle are madly crushing on her. (Except for Unicorn. Because he's dating Sweetheart.) But Spazz Queen doesn't like any of them back. She only likes guys who are older than her and are "hot".

This is unfortunate for her. It turns out for her, that Poohead #1 was a creeper. He touched her boobs and smacked her bum whenever he got the chance. They weren't dating, and Poohead #1 had a girlfriend at the time.

Poohead #2 said in a mistaken text to his friend that he wanted to (and I quote exactly) "Bang her". This was after he said to Spazz Queen that he would never use her like Poohead #1 did. They weren't dating in this situation either.

I never liked either of them. But that's probably because they both hate me because I'm a nerd, and I try to stay out of trouble.

Spazz Queen knew they were trouble. I warned her multiple times about them, and yet she fell harder for them each time.

When Taylor Swift's song "I Knew You Were Trouble" came out, I sighed and shook my head. This song described both of those situations perfectly.

I feel like I should protect my friend Spazz Queen from this, but she hates it when I do. Yet every single time, I end up being right. It's hard to watch my best friend go through this. 

I hope you guys understand. I hope you guys didn't get bored.

Trol-ol-ol.

I know I haven't been posting this week, but it's Christmas and I have been über busy. I got heaps of cool stuff for Christmas. I got Taylor Swift's DVD, CD and calendar. 

I'm in an I-Couldn't-Care-Less mood today. I hope you don't mind. I'm also so tired. I just watched a movie marathon all morning. It's lunch time and I haven't eaten for 4 hours, but like I said, I couldn't care less today.

My favourite present has got to be my awesome reflective aviators (sunglasses, in case you didn't know.) At scouts we call them "Perv Glasses" because no-one can see were your eyes are so you could be perving on someone and they wouldn't know.

I'm going on jamboree in a week from today (or yesterday. I really can't be bothered to count.) I'll see if I can post a blog post everyday while I'm there so you guys can get an insight into my scouting life. It's gonna be mad crazy I can assure you.

Tiredness...and Mysterious Money...

I'm so tired today. I'm sitting at my computer yawning while writing this. I don't really know what to write about today. 

I did find $1 on my pillow last night though. I have no clue how it got there or why it was there, or who put it there, but I know I'm keeping it! It was a scout $1 though, so maybe someone gave it to me because I'm a scout. I'll call it my Mystery Coin.

I got the most beautiful Christmas card from my crush. (Remember Chivalry?)

It had the most beautiful message on it, which I'm not going to put on here in case he finds this blog. (somehow).

On the upside, I got $26. (Including the Mystery Coin). This was a Christmas present, a good report card reward and obviously the Mystery Coin. It's all cool, I'm not complaining. I love getting money!

I really hope I get a calendar for Christmas. I haven't got one at the moment. Which sucks.

Wow. For being a tired slob, I wrote more than usual.

Sandy Hook

I realised I have not yet talked about the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting. I didn't want to say much about it at first, because it makes me cry. Even though this happened in America, I find it very distressing.

I am particularly ashamed of the church picketing the funeral of the principal. The believe that God sent the shooter because gay marriage has been legalised in some states of America. I am a Christian and I do NOT believe this. God would not kill innocent children to prove a point. God loves children and everyone very much. Those children died. NO child deserves to die.

Death and Electricity

I died over the past couple of days. Half the electricity in house went out, and with it went our Internet modem. No Internet for 5 days. It only just came back in the past five minutes when an electrician came and fixed it. I got so bored I made paper elves to go on the Christmas tree. Luckily today we were out all day, so I didn't notice. 

I wrote a letter to my friend who changed schools yesterday. I poured my heart out to her, telling her things I haven't even told my friends here. It feels good to tell someone.

Last night I didn't post becuase I was downloading Spotify. Love that program. I can get all my fave music for free! I have all the Owl City Tracks and Taylor Swift tracks. I'm listening to the Key of Awesome at the moment. They have parodies of all the most popular songs at the moment. You should check them out on YouTube!

Moustaches and Owls

Today I went shopping with my friends at Westfield. I bought three necklaces and a headband. No clothes though. (And two soft drinks, two chocolate pastries, a subway sub and a large fries from mcdonalds. But that's all food so it doesn't count!!)

I love owls. I got a rainbow owl necklace. And a moustache necklace. I really wanted a moustache mug (like in My Music Show (Part 1)) but I couldn't find one. :(

Boredom and memes

I might post twice today. Just because I missed it yesterday. Yesterday I got really bored. I played Chit Chat City and made stuff and sold stuff and I'm thinking of giving my CCC (chit chat city) shop a theme. And then played on Poptopica. My name is "Nice Peanut".

Reality and Kanji

Holidays pull me out of reality. It's just so nice to be able not to worry about anything. You could sleep all day and no-one would even care. Right now I'm listening to Owl City again and looking up kanji symbols on the internet.

It feels like Christmas...

It's that time of year again. Christmas. I'm thinking of volunteering my time at my church office to wrap the Christmas hampers up. I'm usually pretty god at it, so I'll give it a try. 

My family is actually getting around to putting up the Christmas tree now. We didn't even get the box that has the tree in it out until last night. Right now, my brother (Spyro) is putting on the fairy lights with my dad.

Cleaning and Owl City

Today my family was going to put up the Christmas tree, but fisrt we had to clean up some stuff. I didn't HAVE to do any cleaning mind you, because it was my brother, (remember him) Spyro's mess. But I started cleaning my room, so I can move it around again these holidays, ready for another school year. I found a heap of stuff, in particular my scout achievement book (I don't know about you guys' countries but over here in Australia, girls can be in normal scouts with boys) and my favourite Owl City CD, which I am currently listening to.

Judgemental People

I know. I usually don't post twice in the same day, but I hope I can make an exception. Sorry.

So, this afternoon/this evening I was playing on Chit Chat City (Check it out: This is my buddy link: This is my buddy link all you have to do is click it) So,  anyway, I was killing zombies at the cemetery and suddenly people start blocking me. So I ask why, and they say it's because I'm too (and I quote exactly) "jantel". I think they meant gentle. But I wasn't sure, so I asked what that means and they said: " It's because you like rainbows". ( Because I was wearing a rainbow dress) So I said: "So what? I like rainbows!" and they said that make people think I'm girly, and that makes them think I'm blonde (Which I might add I am not.) 

How does any of that make sense? Since when have rainbows made you girly and girly made me a blonde? I'm very confused and annoyed right now.

School's Finished!!

School is officially finished for 2012! I can't believe it's almost Christmas...Scary...Anyway, today was the school's awards ceremony, and I got a medal and three awards! (One of the awards was for the medal, but same difference). The afternoon tea that was afterwards was great. The brownies there were amazing!!!!

I spent last night writing some thoughtful messages for my friends. I hope they were really encouraging, because I spent some time and effort in them, rather than the usual "To blah blah, From blah blah".

Losing Blood

Sorry that I didn't update yesterday. I kinda lost my retainer at school, and I've only had it for about a month. My mum was so annoyed at me when I told her. We spent half the afternoon at school retracing my steps so we could find it. 

But we found it, and that's all that really matters...right?
At least I definitely won't be losing it again in a hurry.

Hyper Little Kids & Amazing Mums

Today my brother went to a birthday party. It was a pool party - thank goodness, It's still freaking hot - and it was a Skylanders party. His friend's mum did and amazing job at making all these skylanders-related activites and party favours. She even made everyone a personalised skylanders keyring! I think she deserves a round of applause for doing all that. That's why I mentioned her!

I know today's post wasn't long, but I'm really tired from helping out with all the little kids at the party. They were so stinking hyper!

Movie Lies

You know in the movies when the girl drops her books and the boy helps her pick them up?

LIE

I dropped my books today and all that happened to me was my English teacher asked me if i dropped them all. Which I obviously had.

Right now, I'm blogging and talking to my friend who moved away. Let's call her...Estelle. She's doing really well in her school, so go her!

The other day, I was in the library, and my crush (let's call him Chivalry) comes up. It's really obvious that we like each other, but I'm not into dating, so I haven't told him, and he hasn't told me. We made small talk and then we got to that moment where you run out of things to say and you just stand there awkwardly. It was strange. 

I love being weird. It means no-one expects you to be perfect. No pressure required! I hope you guys take my random pictures to heart. They help me through bad days sometimes.

Heat, Assignments and Bowling

Today was so freaking hot. But it's all okay now, because now I'm at home in the air conditioning.

I still haven't quite finished my assignment that's due tomorrow, but it's cool, I got the inspiration bug and I'll finish it as soon as I finish posting to you guys! (I know, I probably should have done it first).

I'm going bowling next Monday with Spyro and Spazz Queen's little sister...let's call her Cutie. Hopefully I'll still be able to post to you guys though!

Today was pretty alright I guess. Except Spazz Queen sided with Potterhead again. Ho hum.

Well, on the upside, once again my amazing project powers kicked in. I rarely have my assignments done from the very start. I always wait for inspiration to hit. Which today, it did! So now my assignment is all ready for Thursday! Almost...

I'm also doing well on my German cultural assignment. It's all in English, so it's pretty easy.

So I'm sitting here chewing on M&Ms, blogging to you guys.

Again, on the upside, I have one view! YAAAAAAY! It was someone from Germany. That made me pretty frigging happy. I <3 Germany!

YouTube Videos and the Normal Weirdness...

Today was pretty normal I guess you could say.

My brother (let's call him Spyro, because he's obsessed with Skylanders) was throwing a paddy because he wanted to go to Pickle's house (His family are close family friends), but wasn't allowed to because Pickle's mum just had an operation.

Also, I got a junior leader position for my next school year! I'm hoping I got a languages position because ich liebe Deutsch! (I love german, in german.)

My friend Potterhead (I haven't introduced her yet) does cheerleading. But that's not the point. The point is, today in drama, Spazz Queen loved every single idea Potterhead had. And none of mine. Apparently I'm too dramatic. Maybe she hasn't taken a look in the mirror lately.

Yesterday I finished my Sose project. My partner Bookworm wrote legit 2 sentences of it. And complained about an entire powerpoint slide that took me a whole hour to look up information for. I told her if she didn't like it, she could rewrite it herself. So she's fixing it up now.

Also, today I watched for the first time, Rebecca Black singing Friday. Is it weird I haven't seen it until now? I've heard it, and watched the Harry Potter parody by the Hillywood Show, but never seen the actual thing. WEIRD. I know.

I'll probably post again tomorrow. But not that it matters. The only person who has viewed my blog so far is me. Dang it.
